Chladni Tuner privacy policy

Last updated: 2026-10-09. Publisher: Red Sun Rising LTD.

This policy covers Chladni Tuner for iPhone.

Microphone audio

Chladni Tuner requests microphone access to detect the pitch of an instrument. Audio is analysed live in memory on your iPhone. The app does not record, save, transmit or share microphone audio.

You can withdraw microphone permission in your iPhone's Settings, under Privacy & Security → Microphone. Live pitch detection requires this permission; reference tones do not.

Preferences and saved tunings

Tuner preferences, custom tuning names and note lists are stored in the app's private storage on your device to provide and remember your settings. They are not sent to Red Sun Rising. You can delete custom tunings in the app. Deleting the app removes its local data; offloading the app may retain it. Copies included in device backups are managed through your Apple backup settings.

Collection and sharing

The app has no user accounts, advertising SDKs or analytics SDKs. It does not send personal information, audio, identifiers, location or usage analytics to Red Sun Rising or third-party services.

Support and privacy requests

If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to send. The website and support privacy policy explains how support correspondence is used, retained and deleted. We cannot access or delete tuner data stored only on your device.

Changes

We will update this policy if the app's data practices change. The revision date appears above.
